Mikey and Emily’s friend, Karma, wrote a sweet letter about Blakely. Karma lives in Jacksonville Florida and is attending the University of North Florida. Karma volunteered at Seven Rivers youth group with Mikey and Emily before she moved to Jacksonville.
Dear Blakely Bumblebee,
I remember the first time I saw you, you put a smile on my face. I was excited to finally meet you. Getting to know you was a blessing in my life. Your testimony is amazing. Getting to see how God used you for his glory is truly a story worth sharing. Your story has helped me grow closer to Christ.
Blakely, when I met you my life changed. I always have had a soft spot for babies. I knew there was always going to be a soft spot for you Blakely in my heart, especially when I saw your beautiful ocean blue eyes and your cute heart shaped nose. When your mom would bring you in the stroller to youth group I would always run over to you and you would look at me and smile so big and bright. I loved seeing you.
I used to work in the nursery at Seven Rivers. Every week during prayer time with my coworkers my prayer request was always for you to get better. I always prayed for you. You touched my life sweet girl.
I wish you were still with us. I want to hold you and hug you and give you kisses. I’m so thankful that I got to know you in the short time that I did. I love your entire family. I loved looking over to you and seeing your smile and hearing you laugh. Blakely, you will always have a special spot in my heart forever. I miss you so much Blakely. But I know that you are in the arms of our Lord Jesus. I know that one day we will see you again and hug you sweet girl.
